Scholarship Descriptions
Scholarships are gifts of money that are awarded on the basis of academic performance and potential. The Valley City State University scholarship program is made possible only through the generous donations from alumni and friends. Students must be enrolled full-time at VCSU to be eligible for scholarships and must be enrolled in on-campus courses.

Listed below are the individual scholarship programs available through VCSU. Scholarship values and number of scholarships available each year can vary due to current investment rates. The programs have been categorized into groups: one group for each of the six academic divisions of the University and one general group. The appropriate application for most of the scholarships listed below can be applied for by using the link to the following:
Scholarships that require a "special application" also include information on how to obtain the form. Read through all the scholarship descriptions very carefully and follow the instructions. "Special application scholarships" are indicated by (•).
